New year celebration in Japan_1st January 2015

We had learned the traditional celebration of New year (2015) in Japan. I had enjoyed a lot on the New Year celebration on Tojo Sensei’s house, Kochi-Ken, Japan.

There was some interesting part of celebration that we had learned that why every Japanese people decorated their house gate by special art.

 

We had also informed that the counting the age which was related to the animals. That seems to be interesting.

Writing in Kanji

First time I had written in Japanese Language (Kanji). I thought this was the most interesting part of the celebration. I had written the New Year in Kanji. I have attached some photos of that calligraphy.

We enjoyed the playing cards. The winner of the game has got prize that was also interesting.

Finally we enjoyed a lot and learn some traditional Japanese culture. I was really happy to be a participant of that celebration.
